Susan Marie Bergstrom, 72, of St. Meinrad passed away at her home on Friday, September 6th. Susan was born October 16, 1951 in Graylake, IL to Virgil and Laverne (Ballersteadt) Skoglund.
She married Fred Bergstrom who preceded her in death on December 15, 2009. Susan was an Oncology Nurse for Evanston Northwestern Hospital in Illinois.
Susan is survived by her companion, David Marrs of St. Meinrad; one son, JohnDeBoer and wife, Jessica Lambert of Henderson, NV; her daughter, Ami (Joshua) Kos of Lakeville, IL; grandchildren, Daisy DeBoer, Anthony and Maggie Parcucci, Audrey and Logan Kos; brothers, Robert (Tammy) Skoglund and Ronald Skoglund; sisters, Linda (Damon) Nasser and Debra (Roger) Bloom. Susan was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Skoglund and sisters, Laurel Cooper, Cheryl Taylor and Karen Segreti.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Illinois.
