The Jasper Street Department is reminding residents that during the extreme cold temperatures this winter, double collection crews may be sent out, resulting in trash and recyclables being picked up earlier than normal.
Normal afternoon collections will be picked up in the morning during these double collection truck route days, and the department advises having your trash and recyclables ready for pick up by 7 AM on your collection day.
