Rosie R. Stetter, 88, of Huntingburg, passed away on January 10, 2026, surrounded by her family at Deaconess Memorial Hospital. She was born March 8, 1937, in St Henry, Indiana, to Leo and Clara (Hohl) Jochem. Rosie was a graduate of Holland High School’s Class of 1956.  She was employed at Dubois Wood, where she retired. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary #3335 and V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #2366. Rosie loved to do embroidery work for the church and loved to read. She loved her family beyond measure and would say how she hoped she would be able to watch her great-grandkids grow up.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Coletta Caine and Dorothy Hollander; and two brothers, Jerome and Lee Ray Jochem.

She is survived by her son, Brad (Micki) Stetter and daughter, Beth (Kevin) Meyer both of Huntingburg; six grandkids, Zach (Lanae), Chase and Noah Stetter, Morgan (Kyle) Lowtharp, Chad and Karli Meyer; five great-grandkids, Hadley and Haven Stetter, Carter and Camryn Lowtharp, and Cayde Mundy; and one sister-in-law, Mary Alice Jochem.

A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. The funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Homero Rodriguez.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 9:00-11:30 a.m., Tuesday morning. A parish rosary will be prayed at 11:15 a.m. at the funeral home prior to processing to church. Condolences may be shared online at:  www.nassandson.com
