Dennis E. Adams, age 65, of Ferdinand, Indiana, passed away at 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at home.
Dennis was born in High Point, North Carolina, on October 27, 1960, to Postell and Mary (Bennett) Adams.
With heavy hearts and deep love, we celebrate the life of Dennis E. Adams — a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and light to everyone he met.
Dennis had a rare gift for making people feel seen, welcomed, and valued. His smile could light up any room, and his joyful spirit left a lasting impression wherever he went.
He found happiness in life’s simple pleasures — long days on the golf course, traveling along the backroads and highways wherever his truck would take him, and creating memories with the people he loved most. To know Dennis was to know kindness, dignity, strength, and a heart that was always open.
Above all, he was a family man. He loved deeply and lived fully, always showing up with guidance, humor, and unwavering support.
Dennis fought a courageous battle with cancer. Though treatment took a toll on his body, he faced each day with strength, resilience, and hope. Even in the hardest moments, his spirit never wavered. When his fight was finally over, he passed peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by love.
Dennis is survived by his devoted wife, Kris Mohr; his beloved daughters, Brittany and Lindsay Adams, his adored grandkids Ethan King and Maverick Lozada; and his cherished siblings, Gary Adams, Joanna Bobbit, Gwendela Hill, Rick Adams, Darell Adams, Calvin Adams, Stefon Adams, and Amos Adams, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by him.
Preceding him in death are his parents, are three brothers, Henry “Hank” Wall, and Louis and Randall “Randy” Adams
Though we grieve his passing, we choose to honor and celebrate the incredible life he lived. His legacy lives on in the laughter he shared, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely.
Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
A Celebration of Life memorial service for Dennis E. Adams will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the 6:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home. Pastor Darrel Land will officiate.
