Stanley R. Schroeder, age 58 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday (November 3, 2015) at home.

Schroder, StanStan was born in Newfoundland, Canada December 27, 1956 to William and Sarah “Margaret” (Huff) Schroeder.

Stan was a Casino Dealer for the French Lick Springs Resort, where he had worked since the opening of the Casino.    Prior he was the owner/operator of S.S. Cleaning.

He was a U. S. Army Veteran serving in Ft. Knox.   He was a graduate of the Jasper High School Class of 1976.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting,  gambling and spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Funeral services for Stan Schroeder will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday (November 7, 2015) at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, IN, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper, Indiana.  The VFW Post  #673 will conduct military gravesite rites.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00p.m. on Friday (November 6, 2015) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
