Mary Ann Recker, age 76, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 11:25 a.m. on Friday (December 4, 2015) at home.

Recker, Mary AnnMary was born on September 11, 1939 in Oxford, Florida, to Butler and Katie (Crenshaw) Lewis.  Her first marriage was to Paul Frank Steltenpohl Sr.  He preceded her in death on February 26, 1973.  She then married Jay Recker on July 3, 1974 in Jasper, Indiana.

Mary Ann was a homemaker and member of the Christian Church of Jasper.

She was an Elvis fan, and an avid St. Louis Cardinals and I.U. Basketball fan.  She also enjoyed gardening, canning, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mary Ann Recker will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday (December 8, 2015) at the Christian Church of Jasper, with burial to follow in Enlow Cemetery in Jasper.  Pastor Darrel Land will officiate.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service time at the church on Tuesday.
