Rose Mae Kline, 82 of Ferdinand passed away Friday December 11th in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center, Jasper. She was born May 20, 1933 in Ferdinand to Andrew & Caroline (Heeke) Boeglin. She married James Kline on November 26, 1953 in Saint Ferdinand Catholic Church.

Rose was a lifelong member of Saint Ferdinand Parish. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Patrick & Joseph in infancy and a grandson, Curt Greulich. She was also preceded in death by 6 sisters, Frieda Olinger, Hedwig “Hattie” Boeglin, Ella Hedinger, Leona Lueken, Lucille Heilers, and Mary Etta Merkley. 3 brothers, Alphonse, Ralph, and Ted Boeglin. She enjoyed cooking, being with her family & friends, and praying the rosary.

Surviving are her husband, James Kline, 3 daughters, Linda Greulich and husband Mike of Lamar, Margie Jerger and husband Jeff of St. Henry, and Angie Rahman and husband Steve of Ferdinand. 2 sons, Kevin Kline and wife Sylvia “Sig” and Jeff Kline and wife Cindy all of Ferdinand. 11 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren. Several nieces & nephews. 1 sister-in-law, Esther Boeglin of Ferdinand.

Funeral service 10:00 AM Wednesday in St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry. Burial to follow in Saint Ferdinand Church Cemetery, Ferdinand. Friends may call from 2 to 8:00 PM Tuesday & 7 to 9:30 AM Wednesday at Becher Funeral Home, Ferdinand. Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Ferdinand Church Renew or EWIN Catholic Channel.
