Luella H. Eisenhut, age 90 of Haysville, Indiana passed away a 2:35 a.m. Wednesday, (February 3, 2016), in St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.

Eisenhut, LuellaShe was born in Haysville, Indiana on June 6, 1925 to Alva and Elnora (Krodel) Hoffman. She married Luther J. Eisenhut on January 22, 1948 in Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville, Indiana.  He preceded her in death on November 24, 2003.

Luella was a homemaker and member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville and Women’s Evangical Lutheran Church Association.

She enjoyed gardening, outdoor work, cooking and especially grandchildren.

Daughter, Kathy Jarboe and husband Herb, Jasper, IN

Son, Mike Eisenhut and Brenda, Haysville, IN

Two grandchildren, Mick Jarboe and Matt Eisenhut and two step great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death besides her husband is one brother, Lester H. Hoffman.

Funeral services for Luella Eisenhut will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, (February 6, 2016), in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery.  The Rev. Charla Grieves will officiate.

Friends may call from 2-7 p.m. Friday, (February 5, 2016) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church. WELCA will hold a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or a favorite charity.
