Virginia Ann Schmitt, age 74, of Holland, passed away at 1:15 a.m., Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born February 11, 1941, in Asheville, North Carolina to Bert J. and Mable F. (Pressley) Schmitt. She was a retired furniture factory worker and member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Holland, Huntingburg V.F.W. Auxiliary, and Holland American Legion Auxiliary. Virginia was never married
She is survived by:
Two sisters,
Linda Bunner of Indianapolis, Indiana,
B.J. Goodwin of Peyton, Colorado;
and her niece,
Theresa Elpers of Stendal, Indiana.
