Rose Mary (Sis) Zink, 83 of Ferdinand died Tuesday July 19th at her home. She was born April 20, 1933 in Huntingburg to Albert & Jesse (Wilkey) Mathies. She married Charles Roman Zink on September 29, 1950 in Huntingburg. He preceded her in death on February 11, 2010.

Rose Mary was a member of Saint Ferdinand Parish. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed being with family & friends.

Surviving are five daughters, Becky (Paul) Mohr, Joey (Alois) Fest, & Jackie (Ryan) Begle all of Ferdinand. Deb (Joe) Marks & Renee (Mike) Buechlein both of Jasper. Five sons, Rod (Alice ) Zink, & Chris Zink both of Ferdinand, Bob (Yvonne) Zink of Bretzville, Stu (Christy) Zink of St. Anthony, Mike (Annette) Zink of Huntingburg. 19 grandchildren & 29 great-grandchildren. One brother, Donald Mathies of Huntingburg. She was preceded in death by nine brothers, Robert, David, William, Eugene, Wilbert, Richard, Chester, Albert Ray, & Jimmie Ray Mathies. Four sisters, Alberta Schum, Sylvia Petry, Joella Petry, & Bonnie Sullivan.

Funeral services 10:00 AM Friday July 22nd in Saint Henry Catholic Church with burial to follow in Saint Ferdinand Catholic Church Cemetery.
