Dorothy V. Schuetter, age 97, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 3:50 p.m. on Saturday (September 3, 2016) at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

schuetter-dorothy-vDorothy was born in Dubois County, Indiana, on August 31, 1919 to Frank and Veronica (Fuhs) Beck. She married Hilbert Schuetter on June 19, 1941. He preceded her in death on March 14, 1986.

Dorothy worked at the Novelty Factory for six years. She was the Jasper Cab driver for six years, and then she was a driver for the Older American Center for 10 years.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the St. Ann’s Society.

She enjoyed playing cards and bingo.

Preceding her in death besides her husband are one sister, Gertrude Dischinger, and three brothers, Alphonse, Urban, and Wilfred Beck.

Funeral services for Dorothy V. Schuetter will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday (September 10, 2016) at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. service time at the church on Saturday.
