Harvey J. Zehr, age 90 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 8:17 p.m. on Wednesday (November 2, 2016) at Brookside Village in Jasper, IN.
Harvey was born on March 4, 1926 in Dubois, Indiana to George and Barbara (Seitz) Zehr. He married Louise Hemmerlein on January 3, 1948 in St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Dubois.
Harvey retired as an accountant for the Dubois Rural Electric Cooperative after 45 years of service.
Harvey was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Dubois.
He enjoyed farming, hunting, Indiana University Sports, and spending time with his family and dogs.

Funeral services for Harvey J. Zehr will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday (November 5, 2016) at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Dubois with burial to follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Dubois. The Rev. John Sterrett will officiate.
Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time on Saturday (November 5, 2016) at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Dubois.
