Rosemarie Sherry, age 94 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 2:46 p.m. on Wednesday (November 9, 2016) at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper, Indiana.

rosemarie-sherryRosemarie was born in Pittsburg, Kansas on September 2, 1922 to Peter and Katherine (Burdick) Mauterer. She was married to and preceded in death by two husbands; Glen Daughtery and Clayton Sherry, both of whom died in 1975.

She was a 1940 graduate of Pittsburg High School.

Rosemarie was a homemaker.

She was a member of United Methodist Church in Wooster, OH and very active in the United Methodist Women and the Esther Circle.

She loved sewing, quilting, and embroidery work.

Sandra Emerson and husband Herb, Jasper, IN
Two Granddaughters; Wendy Dean, and Dana Flexon
Two Great Grandsons; Alex and Nicklaus Dean

Preceding her in death besides her two husbands was one sister, Evelyn Conner and one brother, Jack Mauterer.

Private services for Rosemarie Sherry will be held at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper, IN with inurnment to follow at a later date.
