Damian J. McBride, age 19 of Birdseye, Indiana, passed away at 5:00 a.m. on Saturday (December 3, 2016) in a house fire in Pike County Indiana alongside his rottweiler dog Zander.

damian-mcbride1Damian was born in Evansville, Indiana on January 28, 1997 to Karena Vonderheide and Josh McBride.

He was a graduate of Forest Park High School, where he played football, and was currently attending his second year at Vincennes University.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, the St. Anthony Conservation Club, the NRA, and ABATE.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, the outdoors, helping people, and was a loving brother and son.

Preceding him in death was his grandmother, Alvina Vonderheide.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Damian McBride will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday (December 9, 2016) at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow at a later date.

Friends may call from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday (December 8, 2016) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, IN.
