Nancy E. Pence, age 73 of Jasper, Indiana, formerly of Wabash, IN, and Columbia City, IN, passed away at 5:34 a.m. on Saturday (December 31, 2016) at the Timbers of Jasper.

Nancy was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana on September 18, 1943 to John and Norene (Lasher) Studinski. She married Stephen Pence on July 3, 1972 in Warsaw, Indiana.

She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper.

She enjoyed playing cards, flower gardening, and spending time with her cat and her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Nancy E. Pence will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday (January 5, 2017) at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, IN, with burial to follow at a later date.

Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday (January 4, 2017) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at church on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
