Pauline Keller, age 77 of Dubois, Indiana, passed away on Friday evening, April 14, 2017, at her home in Dubois.

She was born at Greenwood, Indiana on December 6, 1939 to Malcolm and Bertha (Lane) McDowell.

She married Ralph H. Keller on June 3, 1958 at Greenwood, Indiana. He preceded her in death on January 16, 1991.

Pauline retired from Northwood Retirement Community Center in Jasper and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville, previously member of the Emanuel Hill Church at Dubois.

She loved her pet kittens and gardening.

Son, John Keller and partner Melanie Alles, Newburgh, IN

Daughter, Deborah Vonderschmitt (Mark), Louisville, KY

Grandchildren, Benjamin, Kendrick and partner Celeste Quine and Timothy (Kayla) Vonderschmitt, Kaitlin (Tyler) Harris.

Great granddaughter, Adelaide Vonderschmitt.

Preceding her in death are a sister, Betty Bleemel, and one brother, David McDowell.

Funeral services for Pauline Keller will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, (April 20, 2017) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper with burial to follow in Emanuel Hill Church Cemetery at Dubois.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. Thursday until the 2:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dubois County Humane society.
