Paul Myers, Jr., age 87, of Winslow, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper.

Paul was born January 5, 1930, in Ayrshire (Pike County) to Paul Sr. and Esther (Tisdale) Myers. He was united in marriage to Karen Ridgway on September 8, 1970, at Shaker Prairie Church. Paul was a member of the United Mine Workers and retired from the Amax Coal Company. He was a member of the First Church of Nazarene in Oakland City; and enjoyed fishing, woodworking and gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry Knight.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Myers of Winslow; daughters, Kaye Houchins of French Lick, Annette (John) Trout of Holland; sisters, Faye Winkler of Vincennes, Rhonda Hoover of Oakland City; brother, Mike Knight of Oakland City; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A private graveside service will be held for Paul Myers, Jr., at Augusta Cemetery in Augusta, Indiana. John Trout will officiate the service. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
