Dean E. Schuler, 60 of Moody, AL. formerly of Jasper passed away surrounded by family & friends Sunday July 2nd in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper. Dean was born July 30, 1956 in Huntingburg to Louis F. and Bonnie H. (Andry) Schuler. He married Beth Chapman on May 23, 1996 in Jasper.

Dean was a group leader at Hubble Power Systems in Alabama. He enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, grilling, making deer summer sausage, and spending time with his family & friends. Dean was an organ donor through the Indiana Organ Procurement Association.

Surviving are his wife, Beth Schuler, two daughters, Stacey Allen of Vincennes, and Kayla Schuler-Best of French Lick. One brother, Roger (Kathy) Schuler of Deatsville, AL., and one sister, Mary Sue “Suzy” Hollis of Clarksville. His mother-in-law, Minnie Guthrie of Campbellsburg, brother-in-law, Don “Fred” Chapman of Jasper, father-in-law, William “Bill” Chapman of Peterson, AL. 15 nieces & nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Anna Louisa Schuler, step father-in-law, Floyd Guthrie.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday July 6th at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Deacon James King and Todd Maki will officiate. Scattering of cremains will take place at a later date.
