Linda Lee Katter Pavelka, 79, Huntington, IN, formerly of Jasper, passed
away July 12, 2017 at her home at Tipton Place. She was born in Holland,
IN July 2, 1938 to the late Raymond and Meta (Niehaus) Katter. She
married Rev. John Pavelka on June 7, 1964 at St. James Lutheran Church
in Holland, IN.

Linda graduated from Holland High School and Oakland City College. She retired from teaching after 35 years. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and Redeemer Lutheran Church Women.

She enjoyed directing musical programs, traveling and spending time with her family.

Survivors include daughters Maria (Scott) Chanley of Huntington, IN, Rachel Pavelka of Terre Haute, IN; granddaughter, Lauren (Daniel) Beer of Fort Wayne, IN; sisters Karen Dougan of Chrisney, IN, Mary Ann McDevitt
of Crawfordsville, IN. Linda was preceded in death by her husband Rev. John Pavelka.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on July 15, 2017, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Jasper with burial to follow in St. James Cemetery in Holland, Indiana.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at
the church on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Redeemer
Lutheran Church Building Fund, St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery
