Peggy A. Mundy-McGlothlin, 72 of Jasper passed away Tuesday, September 5th at her home in Jasper.

Peggy was born October 2, 1944 in Terra Haute to Donald and Mildred (Siebe) Frick. Peggy married Joe McGlothlin on May 22, 2014.

Peggy was a member of the American Legion, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper and was the former Director of Religious Education at Sacred Heart Church in Schnellville. Peggy loved playing cards.

She is survived by her husband, Joe McGlothlin of Scottsburg; four sons, Bret (Toni) Mundy of Birdseye, Bart (Marla) Mundy of Dale, Brian (Vivian) Mundy of Huntingburg and David Mundy Jr. and his fiancé Diane Wendholt of Jasper; three sisters, Susan (Larry) Kemp of Jasper, Helen Altmeyer of Jasper and Donna Kunz of Florida; her former husband, David L. Mundy Sr. of Jasper; five grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Peggy was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Reese.

A memorial mass will be on Thursday, September 14th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper at 10:00AM.
