Mildred K. Hemmerlein, age 83, of Haysville, Indiana, passed away at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at The Timbers of Jasper.

She was born at Dubois, Indiana, on August 2, 1934, to Edward and Eva (Baer) Breitwieser.  She married Harold T. Hemmerlein June 10, 1958 at the Emmanuel Hill Church at Dubois, Indiana.

Mildred was a homemaker and was the secretary at Christ Lutheran Church and caretaker for Community Cemetery in Haysville for many years.

Mildred is a member Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville and the Haysville Ruritan Club.

Surviving,

Husband, Harold Hemmerlein.

Daughter, Stephanie (Jeremy) Breeden, Haysville, IN.

Two grandchildren; Katherine and Joshua Breeden.

One brother, Edwin L. Breitwieser, Dubois, IN

Preceding her in death are sisters; Helena Goller, Genevieve Seitz, Selma Neukam and Mary Lou Breitweiser who died in infancy.  One brother Raymond Breitwieser who died in infancy.

Funeral services for Mildred Hemmerlein will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2018, at Christ Lutheran Church with burial to follow in Community Cemetery in Haysville, Indiana. The Pastor Rev. Timothy Kraemer will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church or to the Emmanuel Hill Church.
