Ray Roesner, age 82, of Vincennes, formerly of Holland, passed away at 1:20 a.m., on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.

He was born July 22, 1935, in Holland, Indiana to Edmond and Edna (Werremeyer) Roesner.  Ray was a teacher, coach and Principle at Southridge High School; and a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Holland.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice (Meyer) Roesner, who died October 5, 2005; and his infant son, Jeffery Ray Roesner.

Ray is survived by his wife, Pat Smith Roesner of Vincennes; three children, Jennifer Thomas of Huntingburg, Donna (Tony) Gray of Huntingburg and Stan Roesner of Jasper; two sisters, Melba Werremeyer and June Seufert both of Holland; by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 10, 2018, at St. James Lutheran Church in Holland with burial at St. James Lutheran Cemetery.  Pastor David Darling will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Friday; and also at church one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday.  Condolences at:  www.nassandson.com
