James Montgomery, age 79, of Marengo, IN peacefully passed away on February 8, 2023, at Golden Guardians Hospice Facility in Corydon, IN.
He was born on August 29, 1943, to George Montgomery and Dessie (Holston) Montgomery in Milwaukee, WI.
Jim retired from be a Truck Driver for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings; May Endl and Donnie Montgomery, and his stepdaughter Joni Montgomery.
Jim is survived by his wife of 38 years, Helen (Meek) Montgomery, his children; Nancy (Lonnie) Nelson and Racheal (Jim) Blankenship, stepchildren Michael Montgomery and Greg Montgomery and his grandchildren; Kennon and Stacy Nelson, Montana and Leilla Blankenship, Briana and Brandi Montgomery and Samantha and Ashley Montgomery.
Cremation was chosen per James’ wishes, there will be a burial service at a later date.
