(Dale, IN) Carrah J. Volz, 42 of Dale, passed away on Tuesday, June 27th at her home in Dale. Carrah was born September 22, 1980, in Evansville to Roland and Doris (Rainey) Powers. She married Jereme Volz on June 14, 1997, in Dale United Methodist Church. Carrah enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, vacationing, and loved her dogs.

Carrah is survived by her husband, Jereme Volz of Dale; four sons, Carsten Volz, Ernest (Cora Meyer) Volz, Taylor Volz and Ollie George all of Dale; a daughter, Elexius “El” Volz of Dale; her father, Roland Powers Sr. of Dale; brothers, Roland (Jo) Powers Jr. of Lynnville, David (Brandee) Powers of Evansville; sisters, Cheryl (Trent) Torsenton of Chrisney and Carol (David) Prickett of Huntingburg; her mother-in-law, Sheila Mueller. Carrah was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry, Aaron, and Daniel Powers, and her mother, Doris Powers.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 5th at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand at Noon. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will follow in Log Creek Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.becherfuneralhome.com
