(Huntingburg, IN) Donna R. Forston, age 74, of Huntingburg, passed away at 12:04 p.m., on Monday, August 21, 2023, at her residence.
She was born May 22, 1949, in Huntingburg, to Alfred and Minnie Fay (Morgan) Carnahan. She was baptized at Birdseye Christian Church; and worked at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center as a Dietary Cook. She was a member of the Huntingburg Eagles and Huntingburg V.F.W. Post #2366 Auxiliaries. Donna enjoyed quilting baby blankets and loved taking care of her flowers and plants. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Doris Dick, Bob Carnahan, Loren Underhill, Claude Underhill, Jr. and Geneva Ingle Long.
She is survived by four children, Belinda Hall of Huntingburg, Jeff Heim of Ferdinand, Phillip “Phil” Butler of Huntingburg, and Cheyenne (Greg) Ubelhor of Ferdinand; her companion, Lee Dillon; five grandchildren, Rachel, Emily, Aaron, Jesse, and Dillon; and by five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Donna R. Forston will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., Friday, August 25, 2023, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Pastor Zachary Korff will officiate the service.
Visitation will be at the Nass & Son Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 24th. A V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #2366 Funeral Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to a Multiple Sclerosis Charity in honor of Donna.
