William “Bill” T. Hayes, age 87, of Winslow, Indiana, passed away surrounded by family at 12:14 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, in Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.

Bill was born in Winslow, Indiana, on January 21, 1936, to Willard and Opha (Beadles) Hayes.  He married Carolyn Boles, and she preceded him in death in 2005.

Bill was a lifetime farmer and logger.

He enjoyed going to antique tractor shows.

Surviving are two children, William D. (Kathy) Hayes, Winslow, IN, Patricia (Darin) Dulworth, Petersburg, IN, nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his wife, three children, one grandson, one sister, and one brother.

A gravesite service for William “Bill” T. Hayes will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Friday, December 8, 2023, in Beadles Cemetery in Pike County, Indiana.
