Get ready for a burst of creativity at the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center as Jasper Community Arts presents the 21st annual Chalk Walk Arts Festival on Saturday, May 18th, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Chalk Walk 2024 promises a day filled with artistic flair and family-friendly activities. Attendees can look forward to old favorites like Chalk Walk t-shirt tie-dyeing, balloon art, caricatures, a bounce house for the little ones, and, of course, plenty of chalk art.

Artists and craftspeople of all kinds are encouraged to participate in this eagerly anticipated event. Booth spaces are available for a fee of $25, with artists responsible for bringing their own tables (Jasper Community Arts will provide 2 chairs per booth). Those interested can register online at www.jasperarts.org/chalkwalk or contact Eric Herndon, Chalk Walk Event Coordinator, at 812-482-3070.

Register before the early bird deadline of April 28th to receive a complimentary 2021 Chalk Walk t-shirt. For late registrants, t-shirts will be available for purchase at the event for $8.

The Chalk Walk Arts Festival is made possible thanks to the generous support of local businesses and individuals, including Papa John’s Pizza of Jasper and the Greater Jasper Downtown Business Association.
