Lisa D. Whitsitt, age 57, of Huntingburg, passed away on Friday,      June 13, 2025, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born April 24, 1968, in Evansville, Indiana, to Larry and Sandy (Sans) Oxley.  She married Marty Whitsitt on November 7, 1987 at Mt. Olive General Baptist Church in Heilman.  Together they made a home for themselves and three sons.  She cherished the seven grandchildren that she has been blessed with.  Her heart is filled with love for them and chose spending as much time as she could and making them her #1 hobby.  Lisa also enjoyed watching old movies and drinking coffee.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Rodney Oxley.

She is survived by her husband, Marty Whitsitt of Huntingburg; their 3 sons, Justin (Kayla) Whitsitt of Holland, Tyler (Ashlee) Whitsitt, Ryan (Serina) Whitsitt, both of Huntingburg; her parents, Larry and Sandy Oxley of Dale; a sister, Crystal (Ronnie) Goings, of Boonville; 7 grandchildren, Justice, Raylan, Avalyn, Lincoln, Liam, Kaylee and Kyra.

Visitation for Lisa Whitsitt will be held at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg on

Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. EDT and also one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Funeral services begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Mayo Cemetery.  Monty Critchlow will officiate the service.
