Margaret Fetter, 82, of Ferdinand, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand.

She was born July 30, 1934 in Ferdinand to Joseph and Mathilda (Nord) Wilmes. Margaret married Daniel Fetter on June 2, 1956 in St. Ferdinand Church. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1998.

Margaret was a member of St. Ferdinand Parish and often prepared meals for funeral luncheons. She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting and spending time with her grandkids.

Margaret is survived by one son, Ron (Tina) Fetter of Ferdinand; two daughters, Joyce Fetter of Ferdinand and Donna (Andy) Stetter of Huntingburg; one brother, Joe (Grace) Wilmes of Ferdinand; eight grandchildren, Jenna Nordhoff Kreilein, Aaron Nordhoff, Whitney, Tori and Tyler Fetter, Bailey, Connor and McKenzie Schulz; one great-granddaughter, Blair Kreilein. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel; two sisters, Marcella Gogel and Hilda Oser; seven brothers, Urban, Oscar, Clarence, Ernest, Hubert, Dennis and Albert Wilmes.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:00 AM in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8:00 PM at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand and Thursday from 7-9:30 AM at the funeral home.
