Earl Anthony Paulin, 85, of Siberia, passed away, Saturday, June 3, 2017 at his home. Earl was born August 9, 1931 in Uniontown, KY to Anthony J. and Ella (Merkley) Paulin.

He married Therese Messmer on July 30, 1955 in St. Ferdinand Church. Earl was retired from DMI and was also a farmer.

He was a member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Siberia. Earl enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandkids.

Earl is survived by his wife, Therese of Siberia; three sons, Gregory (Mickie) Paulin and Anthony (Ruth) Paulin all of Ferdinand, Jeffrey Paulin of Siberia; three daughters, Brenda (Glen) Schuetter of Birdseye, Cheryl (Tim) Sherman of Siberia and Patricia (Chris) Reckelhoff of St. Anthony; one sister, Eileen Gehlhausen of Bristow; one brother, Richard (Noreida) Paulin of Bristow; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Earl was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Paulin in infancy; a sister, Rosalie Gehlhausen; two grandsons, Steven Hempfling and Eric Hempfling.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 9:00AM CDT in St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Siberia with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Military Graveside rights will be provided by St. Meinrad Legion Post 366.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 1-7:00 PM CDT and Wednesday from 7-8:30 AM CDT at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand.
