Harold A. Brames, 76, of St. Henry, passed away, Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper. Harold was born, February 10, 1939, in St. Anthony to Albert and Irma (Schipp) Brames. He married Emogene Dilger on July 7, 1962, in Mary Help of Christians Church in Mariah Hill.

Harold was a retired Truck Driver for Aristokraft. He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church Parish and the St. Henry Community Club. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, and Cincinnati Reds Baseball.

Harold is survived by his wife, Emogene, three sons, Steve Brames of St. Henry, Dave Brames of Bretzville and Pat Brames and wife Nanette of Verona, KY; two daughters, Rita Brames of McCordsville, IN. and Jennifer Edwards and husband Tom of Mt. Joliet IN; six brothers, Ernie Brames and wife Elaine, Jim Brames and wife Shirley, Tom Brames and wife Louise, Clarence Brames and wife Sue all of St. Anthony, Elmer Brames and wife Marilyn of Jasper and Ron Brames of Eckerty; one sister Rose Ann Blessinger and husband Ken of St. Anthony; four grandchildren also survive. Harold was preceded in death by a brother, Norbert Brames.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:00 AM in St. Henry Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8:00 PM at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand and Thursday from 7-9:30 AM at the funeral home.
