Bridget (Bonnie) Heim, 84, of Dale, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper. Bridgett was born March 12, 1931 at St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada.
She married Carl Heim Jr. on June 20, 1952 in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. He preceded her in death in September of 1979. Bridgett worked as a cook at numerous restaurants. She loved playing cards and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Bridgett is survived by four daughters, Joyce VanWinkle and husband Tim of Ferdinand, Cathy Welp of Dale, Joan Petty and husband Rob of Santa Claus, Chris Lenfers and husband Chad of Evansville; one son, Frank Heim and wife Diona of Midway; one brother, Luke Clarke of St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada; twelve grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren also survive.
Bridgett was preceded in death by her husband Carl Heim Jr.; a son, Carl Heim and a daughter, Barbara (Bobbie) Heim.
Services will be Tuesday, November 3rd at 7:00 PM CDT at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 3rd at Becher Funeral Home from 2:00 PM CDT until time of service. Burial will be Sunday, November 8th at 2:00 PM CDT in Dale Cemetery, Dale.
