Paul E. Sollman, age 77, of Velpen, passed away at 3:24 p.m., C.S.T., Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Deaconess Hospital’s Hospice Care Center in Evansville, Indiana.

Sollman Obit Photo 2523He was born May 21, 1938, in Pike County west of Holland, Indiana, to Emil and Hilda (Nuhring) Sollman. Paul was a factory worker and served as Marion Township Trustee for 16 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing; attending singing performances; and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by:

Rosetta Risley of Velpen, Indiana;
His stepson,
Bobby Risley of Velpen, Indiana;
One sister,
Ruby Messmer of St. Anthony, Indiana;
One brother,
David (companion, Becky Jenkins of Santa Claus) Sollman of Velpen, Indiana.

Funeral services for Paul E. Sollman will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.S.T., on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Pleasant Grove/Spraggins Cemetery in Velpen. Pastor Craig Line will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 10:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m., E.S.T., on Saturday, the day of the funeral. Condolences may be shared online at: www.nassandson.com.
