Betty S. (Andry) King, age 72, of Birdseye, Indiana, went to her heavenly home, on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

betty-king-obituary-photo769_edited-1She was born October 1, 1944, in Huntingburg, Indiana to Charles L. and Minnie L. (Buford) Andry. Betty was a homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Marjorie Andry; and one brother, Carl Andry.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Garroll “Lefty” King of Birdseye, Ind.; one daughter, Tammy King of Birdseye, Ind.; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Todd (Kerri) King and Tim (Michelle) King both of Birdseye, Ind.; one sister, Charlotte Twyford of Birdseye, Ind.; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Danny Andry and Eddie (Terry) Andry both of Birdseye, Ind.; and two granddaughters, Shayna and Tori King both of Birdseye, Indiana.

A graveside service for Betty S. King will be held at 12:00 noon, E.D.T., on Monday, October 24, 2016, at the Birdseye Cemetery in Birdseye. Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the burial arrangements. Condolences may be shared online at: www.nassandson.com
