Cozette E. Sheetz, age 90, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 2:40 a.m. on Monday (October 10, 2016) at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper, Indiana.

sheetz-cozetteCozette was born in Holland, Indiana, on March 11, 1926 to Lorenz and Frieda (Werremeyer) Meyer. She married Robert L. Sheetz on August 5, 1950. He preceded her in death on February 1, 1999.

Cozette was a homemaker, seamstress, and she also worked at General Electric and Crane.

She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Jasper, where she was baptized, confirmed, and married.

She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, making Christmas ornaments, doing ceramics, gardening, canning, and reading.

Preceding her in death besides her husband is one sister, Wanda Myers.

Funeral services for Cozette E. Sheetz will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday (October 14, 2016) at Trinity United Church of Christ in Jasper, Indiana, with entombment to follow in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper. Pastor Jane Hillman will officiate.

Friends may call from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday (October 13, 2016) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, and one hour before services at the church on Friday.
