Rick J. Denton, age 59, of Holland, Indiana passed away at 12:45 a.m., Friday, April 21, 2017, at the Deaconess V.N.A. Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.
He was born February 16, 1958, in Huntingburg, Indiana and raised by Jack and Dixie (Seufert) Denton. Rick worked as a carpenter and enjoyed being in the outdoors hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Denton, who died October 6, 2009; and one sister, Pam Blair.
Rick is survived by his son, Jeremiah J. Denton of Schnellville; his mother, Dixie Denton of Huntingburg; three siblings, Shawn Denton of Newburgh, Jack Denton Jr. of Charleston, South Carolina and Sandy Stillwell of Holland; his companion, Nancy Durcholz of Velpen; and two grandchildren, Charlotte Lisa Denton and Bear Alexander Denton both of Schnellville.
