Theodore “Teddy” O. Weidenbenner, age 64, of Ireland, Indiana, passed away at 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.

Teddy was born in Jasper, Indiana, on July 17, 1952 to Theodore Sr. and Cornelia (Ketzner) Weidenbenner. He married Judy Schmitt on January 25, 1975 in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana.

He was a farmer most of his life and then worked at Werner Sawmill until retirement.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland.

He loved the outdoors, including gardening, fishing, having pets, and he also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Judy Weidenbenner, Ireland, IN, two daughters, , Dusti Hillyard, and her husband, Larry, Winslow, IN, Kelly Bueltel and her husband Ryan, Ireland, IN, five grandchildren, one sister, Jean, and one brother, Perry.

Preceding him in death are one brother, Larry, and one brother George, who died in infancy.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Theodore O. “Teddy” Weidenbenner will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church (Ireland) Building Fund.
