John K. Hendrey, Jr., age 88, of Holland, Indiana, passed away on June 2, 2017, at Riveroaks Health Campus in Princeton.

John was born November 28, 1928, in Mill Shoals, Illinois, to John Sr. and Helen Rose (Funkhouser) Hendrey. His first job was sales and service at Addressograph Multigraph for many years. He was the owner of Precision Quick Print in Princeton for over 20 years, enjoyed bluegrass music and played the guitar, bass and mandolin. John was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Kenneth SirHendrey; and four brothers, William SirHendry, David, Charles and Robert Hendrey.

He is survived by five children, Sandra K. (James) Ring of Holland, Keith A. SirHendrey of Madisonville, KY, Kala M. Knapp of Ft. Branch, IN, Vicky (Joe) Jaquess of Owensville, IN, Beverly G. (Ken) Goedde of Ft. Branch, IN; sister, Vilena (Andrew) Meyer of Jasper; nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

A memorial service for John K. Hendrey, Jr., will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.D.T., Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Augustana UCC in Holland. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m., E.D.T., prior to the service at the church. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
