Thomas E. Renner, age 60, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 12:17 a.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2017, at Brookside Village in Jasper, Indiana.

Tom was born in Jasper, Indiana, on June 26, 1957, to Donald and Silvera (Ackerman) Renner.  He married Vienna Voegerl on February 22, 1992, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana.

He was a member of the  Jasper High School class of 1975.

He worked at Jasper Engines for almost 40 years.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland.

Surviving are his wife, Vienna Renner, Jasper, IN, two daughters, Adrienne Renner, Evansville, IN, Ashley Renner, Jasper, IN, his parents, Donald and Silvera Renner, Jasper, IN, three sisters, Ann O’Connor, and her husband, Scott, Fishers, IN, Mary Voegerl, and her husband, Randy, Jasper, IN, Joan Carter, and her husband, Jerrod, Zionsville, IN,  two brothers, Fr. Frank Renner, Petersburg, IN, Charlie Renner, Jasper, IN, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Thomas E. Renner will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, the Lange- Fuhs Cancer Center or to a favorite charity.
