Deborah K. Braun, 58, of Chrisney, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at home.

She was born December 30, 1958, in Jasper to Howard and Frances (Davis) Braun.  Deborah was a 1980 graduate of the Indiana School for the Deaf in Indianapolis; was a former nurse’s aide at the Huntingburg Convalescent Center; loved animals, especially cats and dogs; and was a Minnesota Vikings and Dubois Jeeps sports fan.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Margaret Hill.

Deborah is survived by three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Michael R. (Lori) Braun of Jasper, Billy Joe Braun of Jasper, and Daryl (Carolyn) Braun of Rockport; one sister, Marlene Frank of Indianapolis; her partner, Kathy Valentine of Chrisney; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Deborah Braun will be held at 1:00 p.m., E.D.T., Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at St. John’s Lutheran Church at the Dubois Crossroads in Dubois, Indiana.  Pastor Mary Poston will officiate.

Friends may call for visitation at the church from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Tuesday, the day of the funeral.  Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.  Condolences may be shared online at:  www.nassandson.com.
