Rita J. Pagett, age 84 of Jasper, passed away at 8:47 p.m. Thursday, (July 13, 2017, in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Care Center in Jasper.
She was born in Evansville, Indiana on December 16, 1932 to George and Margaret (Schmitt) Summers.
She married Ralph “Booty” Pagett on October 30, 1970 in Evansville, Indiana. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2011.
She retired from Sten’s in Jasper where she had worked for several years.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.
She enjoyed playing cards and sewing.

Funeral services for Rita J. Pagett will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper with burial to follow in Crystal Community Cemetery, Crystal, Indiana. Fr. Ray Brenner will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at the funeral home.
