Theodore “Junie” Meyer, age 84, of Huntingburg, passed away at 7:10 p.m., on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at his home.

He was born October 26, 1932, in Huntingburg, Indiana to Theodore and Henrietta (Bockting) Meyer; and married Nancy C. Dearing at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in 1954. Ted worked as a meat cutter for A&P, More-for-Less, and the Huntingburg Meat Locker; and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter; his brother, Rob Meyer; and his sister, Mary Ann Brosmer.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy C. Meyer of Huntingburg; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael Alan (Susan) Meyer of Jasper and Gregory Scott (Carol) Meyer of Ireland; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Kristi Jo (Robert) Veatch of Huntingburg and Melinda Kay (Don) Breitwieser of Jasper; his caregiver, Linda Wyman of Birdseye; by ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Theodore “Junie” Meyer will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 17, 2017, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. The funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Ryan Hilderbrand.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 3:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday. A parish prayer vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday evening, at the funeral home. Condolences may be shared online at: www.nassandson.com
