Carmen Hendrixson, age 94, of Holland, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at The Waters of Huntingburg.

She was born on May 16, 1923 in West Baden, Indiana to Owen Hueston and Gladys (Emmons) Hueston. She was united in marriage to Noble Hendrixson on May 16, 1941 in Paoli, Indiana. She was a loving wife, mother and a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crossword puzzles, writing, receiving letters and children, especially babies. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noble, on December 9, 1999; 2 brothers, William and George Heuston; a sister, Kathryn Grider.

She is survived by her 7 children, Joan Nordhoff of Jasper, Nina Burton of Clearwater, FL, Jenny Hart and Cathy Clark, both of Albany, IN, Steven Hendrixson of Muncie, IN, Susie Millspaugh of Anderson, IN and Lisa Hendrixson of Holland, IN; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Carmen Hendrixson will be at 1:00 p.m., E.S.T., Saturday, November 11, 2017, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at the Ames Chapel Cemetery in French Lick, Indiana. Brother Jack Wilson will officiate the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m., the time of the service on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Riley Children’s Hospital, or a favorite charity. Condolences may be shared online at:www.nassandson.com.
