Charlotte Ann Pratte, age 76, of Jasper, Indiana passed away at 10:10 p.m., on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.

She was born September 11, 1941, in Huntingburg, Indiana to Charles Waters and Garneta (Oskins) Helmerich; and subsequently adopted and raised by Charles Helmerich. She worked as an insurance sales agent at Old National Bank in Princeton. Charlotte was a member of the Huntingburg United Methodist Church; enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family; and was an avid sports fan who followed the St. Louis Cardinals, Indiana University basketball and the Indianapolis Colts. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Debra L. Hoffhaus; and one sister, Donna Sue Mason.

Charlotte is survived by one son, Denny (Debbie) Pratte of Chesapeake, Virginia; three daughters, Cindy (Norbert) Schreiner of Jasper, Ind., Michelle (fiancé, Reno Brown) Pratte of Jasper, Ind. and Dawn S. (Patrick) Denk of Portersville, Ind.; four siblings, Mark Helmerich of Hobart, Ind., Melodie Elam of Clyde, California, Charles Wayne Waters of Ocala, Florida and Harold Waters of Concord, California; by ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services for Charlotte Pratte will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, November 27, 2017, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. The Reverend Lee Campbell will officiate at the service.
