Michael G. Friedman, age 56, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at noon on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at home.

Michael was born in Jasper, Indiana, on March 19, 1961, to Clifford and Geraldine (Herbig) Friedman.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving are three daughters, Angela Blackgrove, Huntingburg, IN, Samantha Fromme (Zach), Jasper, IN, and Rachel Barnstead (Alex), Indianapolis, IN, three grandchildren, Taylor and Tanner Blackgrove, and one on the way, three sisters, Marilyn Friedman, Angela “Angie” Friedman, and Sharon Phillips (Dave), all of Jasper, IN, several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents and one brother, James “Jamey” Friedman.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, with burial to follow at a later date. Fr. Ray Brenner will officiate.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the 6:00 p.m. service at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper on Wednesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Hospital, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, or to a favorite charity.
