Beverly Joyce Luker, age 87, of Huntingburg, passed away at 2:19 a.m., Sunday, April 21, 2019, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.

            She was born December 21, 1931, in Stendal, Indiana, to Roy and Clara (Reller) Katter; and married Robert Lee Luker on August 26, 1950, in Stendal.  Beverly worked as a store manager; and was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Stendal and St. Peter’s Lutheran Women of the Church.  She enjoyed sewing, quilting and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.  Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert Lee Luker, who passed away on August 24, 2015.

            She is survived by four children, Gail (John) Garner of Greencastle, Ind., Debi (Phil) Ohanian of Huntingburg, Ind., Joyce (David) Boeglin of Terre Haute, Ind., and Mike (Michelle) Luker of New Palestine, Ind.; one brother, Eldon Katter of Kutztown, Pennsylvania; by (14) grandchildren and (21) great-grandchildren.

            Funeral services for Beverly Joyce Luker will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.S.T., on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Stendal with Pastor Ed Wicks officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.

            Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 5:00-8:00 p.m., on Friday, April 26th; andalso at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.  Condolences may be shared online at:  www.nassandson.com
