Shirley A. Hasenour, age 77 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 12:42 am on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.  

Shirley was born in Huntingburg, Indiana on January 24, 1945, to Hilbert and Norvada (Morton) Mendel.  She married William J. Hasenour on October 26, 1963, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg, IN.  He preceded her in death on December 29, 2013.  

She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana.  

Surviving is one daughter, Brenda Green (Brad), Jasper, two sons, Greg Hasenour, Jasper, and Brian Hasenour, Jasper, two grandchildren, Zachary and Dalton, four sisters, Mary Mundy, Jasper, Rosie Englert (Sylvan), Ferdinand, Clara Toby (Bill), Jasper, and Kathy Mattingly (Steve), Lincoln City. 

Preceding her in death beside her husband was one sister, Carolyn Lindauer.  

A Mass of Christian Burial for Shirley A. Hasenour will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.  

A visitation will be held from 3 pm until 7 pm on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.  

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, or to a favorite charity.
