Rae Inez Bell, 79, of Huntingburg, went to be with her Lord Thursday evening at 8:30 p.m., April 20, 2017, at The Waters of Huntingburg.

She was born January 21, 1938, in Wenatchee, Washington to Roy and Grace (Tipton) Webster. She was a housekeeper at Oakland City University for many years before becoming a C.N.A. at Memorial Hospital and various Nursing Homes. She was a member of the Red Hat Society Club, Angel Missions, and First Church of the Nazarene of Huntingburg. Rae was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Trina McClain and Debra K. Bell; brother, Gary Webster; and two grandsons, Jared Hale and William “B.J.” Jack Roger Green.

She is survived by three children, William D. “Bill” (Valerie) Bell of Smiley, Texas, Shirley A. Bell of Winslow, and Nina M. (David Wayne) Mathias of Huntingburg; one sister, Joni Rodgers of Fort Branch; by ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Rae Inez Bell will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Rev. William Covey will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday. Memorial contributions can be given to the Activities Department at The Waters of Huntingburg. Condolences may be shared online at: www.nassandson.com
