Delores J. Strotman, age 84, of Dubois, Indiana, passed away at 5:28 a.m., on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand.

She was born December 18, 1934, in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Victor and Lucille (Dosier) Fischer.  Delores worked as a cook at Memorial Hospital in Jasper; and she enjoyed sewing and gardening.  Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Strotman, who passed away in 2004; one daughter, Vicki Strotman; and three sisters, Marcella King, Mary Fischer and Mildred Heowener.

She is survived by six children, Mike Strotman of Haysville, Ind., Gary Strotman of Dubois, Ind., Steve (Shonna) Strotman of Haysville, Ind., Karen Rochowiak of Huntingburg, Ind., Bill Strotman of Dubois, Ind. and Paul (James Connolly) Strotman of New York, New York; eight siblings, Charles Fischer of North Dakota, Ruthy Houchin of Oklahoma, Robert Fischer of Velpen, Ind., John Fischer of California, Richard Fischer of Jasper, Ind., Edie Hickman of Paoli, Ind., Cathy Bright of English, Ind. and Susie Stenftenagel of Celestine, Ind.; by (7) grandchildren and (8) great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Delores Strotman will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.S.T., on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Huntingburg.  Rev. Ryan Hilderbrand will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, the day of the funeral.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Condolences may be shared online at www.nassandson.com
